Support & Maintenance

Document Scanner Support | Scanner Service | Scanner Maintenance

Document scanner support and maintenance is provided by our parent company Response Technical Services Limited who are an independent service provider offering  direct on-site service support to  Fujitsu, Canon, Kodak, Panasonic &  Bell & Howell document scanners and microfilm hardware. 
 
Response Technical Services employs its own manufacturer trained engineers, strategically placed throughout the UK to ensure response and fix time targets are achieved.  The field service team is supported by our call management system.   This system tracks and monitors response and fix times for every call to ensure we meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. 
   
Document scanner support and maintenance is offered either by a full support contract or as a on-off on-demand repair. Our standard scanner maintenance contract provides 8 hour response, parts and labour, with up to 2 preventative maintenance visits per year.  Customers can upgrade to a 4 hour response if necessary.
 
Non-contractual scanner support can be either on-site on in our workshop.  Fees include a fixed call out and labour is charged in 30-minute intervals thereafter.  Small desktop and personal scanners are supported by a fixed labour repair to avoid repair costs exceeding the replacement value of the product.
