The Kodak i2400 scanner will scan documents at speeds of upto 30 A4 sheets per minute in black and white, greyscale or colour. Providing an impressive 60 images per minute in duplex mode.
The i2400 has an ergonomically designed automatic document feeder which can be adjusted to suit the operator. Fitted with ultrasonic multi feed detection the i2400 scanner will stop and warn the operator any time the scanner mis-feeds a document.
The document feeder can handle a range of documents including plastic ID cards up to 1.25mm in thickness. The A4 paper thickness ranges from 34g to 413g/m. In long document mode the i2400 will scan a document 215mm x 4,064mm.
Among the options available with the Kodak i2400 is an attachable A4 flatbed allowing image resolutions of up to 1200 dpi.
The Kodak Smart Touch feature allows the user to assign the button to specific tasks, for example, scan to print, scan to email , scan to Microsoft SharePoint. In fact the Smart Touch feature can have up to 9 scanning destinations can be pre-configured for ease of operation.
Supplied with Kodak Capture Desktop software, the scanner will ou-put in any of the following image formats. TIFF, JPEG, RFT, PDF or searchable PDF. For more advanced image capture requirements the i2400 is fully compatable with Kodak Capture Pro.
