This compact A4 Fujitsu fi-6140c desktop document scanner,  scans at up to  60 sheets per minute at resolutions up to 300 dpi, in simplex or duplex, black & White,  greyscale, or colour. The optical resolution is 600 dpi and the colour depth is 24 bits.

The Fujitsu fi-6140C  has a 50 sheet automatic document feeder  (80 g/sqm) and it handles documents weighing up to 210 g/sqm as well as embossed plastic cards, i.e. credit cards, social insurance cards, etc. The background is selectable white or black and documents up to 3048 mm long may be scanned.

This Desktop Scanner has an ultrasonic multi-page detection prevents that two or more sheets are scanned simultaneously, ensuring that the front and back images originate from the same sheet. There is an optional post imprinter  available for the Fujitsu Fi-6140C Scanner which  prints up to 40 user defined characters while scanning the document for endorsing/archiving purposes.

The Fujitsu fi-6140Cdocument scanner comes bundled with Kofax VRS Professional, the leading industry standard for image enhancement. Combined with the built in auto-colour recognition, auto-size recognition and auto-de-skew functions the result is excellent image output quality and improved production efficiency making this a great office scanner.  

The fujitsu Fi -6140C has USB 2.0 and Ultra SCSI interfaces guarantee simple connection to your PC.

The Fujitsu fi-6140C document scanner is ideal for all applications where up to 4000 documents per day will be scanned. Letters, invoices, delivery slips, patient accounts, business cards and embossed plastic cards may all be captured with excellent result at a minimum of effort. In case a flatbed is required for occasional scanning of thick objects the corresponding model is called fi-6240C.
