Fujitsu's Fi-6130 Document scanner is a full 24 bit colour, duplex document scanner, with a recommended daily duty cycle of up to 2000 A4 documents per day. The Fi-6130 has the ability to scan documents at speeds of up to 40 A4 pages per minute. (ppm)/ 80 images per minute (ipm) in black & White or 30ppm / 60 ipm in colour.
Improved Feeding Capability
The fi-6130 has a document feeding mechanism based on its highly respected Fujitsu fi-5900 / fi-5950 production scanner. The feeding system uses brake roller technology rather than a pad, this provides much more resliable and controllable feeding of a wide range of paper.
Image Quality
The Fujitsu fi-6130 offers high quality output resolution up to 1200dpi. interpolated or 600dpi optical. Control over error diffusion, colour dropout and gamma correction via the driver allows a wide variety of documents to be scanned in Colour, Black & white or Grey-scale.
Advanced Imaging features
The Fujitsu fi-6130C incorporates the latest imaging technology to allow multi streaming, page splitting, punch hole removal and advanced document cropping.
Software
Like tyhe majority of Fujitsu's scanners ,the fi-6130C is supplied with Kofax VRS Professional the de-facto standard for image handling. VRS ( Virtual Re-Scan) simplifies the scanning process. Utilising Kofax VRS technology ensures the best quality image in a single pass without the need to manually adjust the scanners image settings. Kofax VRS Pro will also auto rotate documents based on content - cutting down paper preparation time.
Also included with the Fujitsu Fi-6130 is Fujitsu's capture software ScandAll Pro. Scanall Pro will simplify batch scanning operations to a single button press on the scanner. All of these "In the box" software and utilities helps to make the Fi-6130 one of the best value for money scanners on the market today.
Additional scanner features
With a fold away output tray the compact Desktop Fujitsu fi-6130 can be positioned near the users workstation for ease of use. When not in use the Fi-6130 reverts to a sleep mode using only 6.2 watts of power.
Interface
The Fujitsu Fi-6130 document scanner is connected to the PC via the industry standard USB 2.0 interface.
Options
The Fujitsu fi-6130 document scanner can accept a post imprinter unit to stamp the back of each scanned document with up to 40 characters serving as further proof that all documents have been scanned.
