Canon Scanfront 220 network scanner is designed for simple usage. Just plug the Canon ScanFront 220 into your network and you are ready to go in a few minutes without having to worry about complex software to install.

The intuitive user interface of the Canon Scanfront 220 big touch screen controls all scanner functions. Scan to folder, email, FTP, or a USB memory plugged in to the scanner. Through the panel you chose to scan in simplex or duplex, colour, greyscale or monochrome and before sending the images off you can browse, rotate and zoom to check the image quality. Job buttons can be programmed to perform regularly tasks with a single press of the button.

Besides image enhancements functions of the Canon Scanfront 220, additional functions like Auto Size Detection allows you to put documents of varying size in the scanner, Skip Blank Page prevents blank pages from being scanned, and Colour Dropout may be used to remove unwanted backgrounds, frames, etc. Furthermore built-in OCR allows instant conversion of printed text to data, which can be searched using keywords, saving time and effort.

The Canon ScanFront 220P model includes additional features for Professional users such as ultra sound double feed detection and fingerprint authentication. Ultra sound double feed detection ensures that only single sheets pass through the scanner. Fingerprint authentication makes sure that only authorized individuals can login, but may also be used to simplify the system login.

The Web Menu allows IT managers to remotely access all Canon ScanFront 220 and Canon Scanfont 220P in the network to set up new users and configure access and functions rights.
