The user-replaceable separator roller is used to separate documents in order to prevent multifeeds on all Spectrum XF Series scanners. Rated life: 600,000 pages. Life expectancy of the separator roller can be affected by paper type and maintenance of the roller.

Two separator rollers are included in every Spectrum XF All-In-One Kit, Spectrum All-In-One Kit, and can be purchased individually
