BÖWE Bell+Howell's Sidekick 1200 and Sidekick 1400u colour duplex A4 document scanners offer excellent image quality, speed and professional features in a compact format. Designed for the small office applications and distributed scanning (both Bell+Howell Sidekick 1200 and Sidekick 1400u models are certified for Kofax DSS, Document Scan Server).
Documents from 51x70 mm size up to 635 mm long A4 wide documents can be scanned, and both Bell+Howell Sidekick 1200 and Bell+Howell Sidekick 1400u scanner models check for multi feeding of documents, the Bell+Howell Sidekick 1200 by measuring the length of the documents and the Bell+Howell Sidekick 1400u by using the very reliable ultrasonic detection method.
Image output of the Bell+Howell Sidekick 1400u is selectable colour, grey scale or black and white, and the bundled VRS image enhancement software ensures a professional result.
Bell+Howell Sidekick 1400u is connected through the USB2 interface, while Bell+Howell Sidekick 1200 has both USB2 and SCSI interface.
Bell+Howell Working environment:
Designed for workgroup and departmental applications Sidekick works in any small to medium size office where the volume does not exceed 4000 documents per day. Sidekick fits also well in distributed applications, especially combined with Kofax DSS where large numbers of scanners deployed are managed centrally without local software installation.
